 A Face with a Name
That’s us! Jim Matthews is the guy on the right wearing the blue shirt. Bill and Lisa, in the front. Holly, Jim’s faithful assistant for the past eight years, is in the back. We are the faces behind Imagine Homes and Sherlock Holmes.
Why You Should Trust Us… Jim started developing homes east of Colorado Springs more than 20 years ago. He’s an expert on all aspects, from permits to watering rights. He is a good source for learning more about what it takes to buy one of our homes. In fact, he is typically the voice you will speak with first. He’s friendly, and talking about home building is much more than just a job. It is one of his passions. Oh yeah, and golf, mountain biking, and skiing. He owns Sherlock Holmes, a subsidiary of his business High Plains Land & Cattle, LLC. The name Sherlock Holmes, a take-off of Sherlock Homes (It’s elementary… yeah, that’s just Jim’s humor!)
 Bill Matthews, Jim’s younger brother, opened Imagine Homes LLC in 2002. He owns the business with Lisa, his wife. Bill is the hands-on, go-to guy for getting the projects completed. He is also a licensed Pikes Peak Association of Realtors (PPAR) “Realtor.” He is the one you meet with when touring our homes, and he writes the contracts. Everything is signed, sealed and stamped with the State of Colorado’s approval.
